Hi, I’m erica

I’m a nationally certified Pilates instructor with over 12 years of experience teaching, mentoring, educating and building sustainable Pilates businesses. My thoughtful approach to teaching combines my passion for anatomy and biomechanics with an athletic, challenging contemporary style where there is always a clear why behind any exercise or variation.

I specialize in pre- and postnatal Pilates, special populations, thoughtful private & group class programming, and I’ve helped studios design offerings, train staff, and launch programs that truly serve their communities. Through workshops, certifications, and in-studio education, I support studio owners who want elevated, inclusive programming and teachers who want to deepen their skills and confidence on the apparatus.

I also mentor instructors in brand building and business strategy, blending my background in advertising and marketing with real-world studio experience.

Whether you’re looking to bring impactful education into your studio or grow as a teacher and business owner, my work is rooted in clarity, connection, and long-term success.

Work with Me

SINCE THEN, I’VE MADE IT MY MISSION TO SUPPORT PILATES TEACHERS AND STUDIO OWNERS WITH EDUCATION, MENTORSHIP, & STRATEGIES THAT LEAD TO SUSTAINABLE SUCCESS.

I REMEMBER THE MOMENT I REALIZED BURNOUT WASN’T A PERSONAL FAILURE— IT WAS A SYSTEM PROBLEM IN OUR INDUSTRY.

In an industry full of gatekeeping and big egos, I’m an open book. I want to share as much knowledge as I can so we can move the industry forward with grace and kindness. Community over competition, always. Abundance vs. scarcity, always.

Fun facts about me

  • Growing up, my mom always saved to help make travel possible for us. She started me at a young age- I’ve been traveling since I was 5 years old and have been to almost all 50 states, the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and Africa! I love the reset of immersing myself in new places.

  • While I don’t have siblings or a big family, I have many wonderful friends here in LA and back at home in MI. When I’m not working I love to sip a cocktail and go to interesting new spots and laugh.

  • My top genres are alternative R&B and hip-hop. Absolutely no country ever. I played piano for 9 years and guitar for 5. Music is the soundtrack to life and I couldn’t live without it.

  • In my mob wife era, always. I rewatch the Sopranos yearly, and my favorite movies are Goodfellas, Scarface, and Pulp Fiction.

  • Reading has always been one of my favorite pastimes- I specifically love memoirs or bios of celebrities or musicians along with self-help books. Some of my favorites are Embrace Your Power by Louise Hay, and The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra.

  • Pam and Tommy, Kate and Johnny…I know and love all of the 90’s couples and secretly wish someone would invent a time machine so I could go back and live in 80’s/90’s LA. The music, movies, and TV shows are so iconic.
